The Cummins B5.9-G series is built on the legendary B-series platform — one of the most produced and trusted diesel engine families in history. With 5.9L displacement, six cylinders, and mechanical fuel injection, it covers 58-165 kW across naturally aspirated, turbocharged, and turbo-aftercooled configurations. The B5.9-G is the larger sibling of the B3.9 generator engine, sharing the same 102mm × 120mm bore-stroke with two additional cylinders.
